Working at the intersection of equity and technology

b.1981

Oslo, Norway

I'm Robert Nyheim-Jomisko – a social scientist, public advisor, and co-founder of Senter for interseksjonalitet.

I work at the intersection of technology, equity, and society, helping organizations, institutions, and policymakers build more inclusive and just systems.

I hold a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where I also taught courses on climate politics and the role of science in society.

Making systems work for everyone

My background spans public sector innovation, digital governance, racial justice, and ethical approaches to AI. In recent years, I’ve contributed to national strategies on digital transformation, advised on diversity and inclusion efforts, and supported initiatives that center marginalized voices in policy, design, and technology development.

Justice through collaboration

My approach is both analytical and practical: I combine lived experience, deep policy knowledge, and a strong commitment to equity. Whether I’m designing inclusive frameworks, participating in government advisory boards, or speaking publicly about systemic injustice – my aim is to shift structures, not just narratives.

I’m currently based in Oslo, working at the heart of digital policy. I'm open to speaking engagements, advisory roles, and collaborations that align with values of justice, sustainability, and inclusion.
